The Pre-Sales Engineer supports the Operations function by translating customer needs into practical industrial automation solutions. The role ensures technical accuracy, operational feasibility, and alignment between client requirements and the company’s capabilities.
- Collaborate with the technical and operations teams to design and validate design feasibility according to client requests and optimized cost-performance balance.
- Conduct comprehensive technical assessments to identify customer requirements and operational objectives.
- Provide clear and comprehensive documentation to support project execution and operational handover.
- Prepare detailed technical offers, bid documents, and compliance matrices, ensuring full adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
- Participate in tender evaluations, pricing estimations, and solution costing in collaboration with the sales and operations departments.
- Engage with vendors and technology partners to source optimal products and components that align with design specifications.
- Maintain technical relationships with key partners to enhance solution competitiveness and reliability.
- Support the operations and procurement teams in vendor evaluations and technology updates.
- Work closely with the Operations Team to ensure seamless customer positioning, accurate scope definition, and technical integrity of proposed solutions.
- Participate in project kick-off and handover meetings to communicate solution intent and key technical considerations.
- Support post-award technical clarifications to maintain alignment between customer expectations and operational delivery.
- Gather feedback from project implementations and customer interactions to enhance proposal quality and technical accuracy.
- Contribute to internal knowledge repositories and participate in lessons-learned sessions to drive operational excellence.
