Books & Bibs Child Care & Learning Center is seeking a dedicated and engaging Pre-K / Kindergarten Teacher to join our team through a Pre-K partnership program in San Antonio. This role is based within our Child Development Center (CDC) and works in collaboration with Driscoll ISD to provide high-quality early childhood education.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a collaborative effort to expand access to high-quality Pre-K/Kinder in San Antonio. You’ll work alongside a supportive team and play a key role in shaping early learning experiences for young children in your community.

The ideal candidate is passionate about early learning, understands the importance of strong instructional practices, and is committed to supporting young children during one of the most critical stages of development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with Pre-K and Kindergarten standards
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
• Support children’s social, emotional, and academic growth
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with CDC staff and school district partners
• Communicate effectively with families to support student success
• Maintain compliance with licensing, Texas Rising Star, curriculum, and partnership requirements

Qualifications:

• CDA
• At least 2 years of experience working in a classroom setting
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across organizations
