Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including Montessori methods and literacy education strategies.
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management.
- Lead daily lesson planning and activities focused on childhood development milestones, preschool readiness skills, and early intervention techniques.
- Foster strong communication with children to support their social-emotional well-being and behavioral management needs.
- Collaborate with families to share progress updates, discuss individualized education plans (IEPs) for children requiring special education or additional support.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently, ensuring proper childcare practices and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Incorporate physical education activities and promote child welfare through engaging, age-appropriate exercises and play.
Qualifications
- Proven classroom management experience in preschool or early childhood education settings with a focus on toddler care and childhood development.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education or tutoring in foundational subjects such as math and literacy.
- Knowledge of special education principles, early intervention strategies, and standardized testing procedures relevant to preschool assessments.
- Strong communication skills to effectively work with children, parents, colleagues, and external specialists.
- Experience working in daycare or private school environments is preferred; Montessori training or certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with classroom experience involving behavior management techniques and classroom management best practices.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learners, including those requiring additional support through early intervention programs.
