Pre-Primary Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching & Learning Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with early childhood learning goals.

Use play-based and experiential learning methods.

Introduce foundational concepts in literacy, numeracy, motor skills, and social behavior.

Prepare teaching aids, worksheets, and learning materials.

• Classroom Management Maintain a safe, hygienic, and child-friendly classroom.

Manage children with patience, care, and empathy.

Encourage positive behavior and social interaction.

Ensure constant supervision of children.

• Child Development & Assessment Observe and record children’s developmental progress.

Identify learning needs and provide individualized support.

Conduct periodic assessments and share feedback with parents.

• Parent Interaction Communicate regularly with parents regarding child progress.

Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and orientation programs.

• Administrative Responsibilities Maintain attendance records, lesson plans, and class reports.

Follow school policies, safety guidelines, and curriculum requirements.

Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of early childhood development.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children.

Ability to create engaging, activity-based learning experiences.

Classroom management and empathy-driven approach.

Qualifications Mandatory: ECCEd certification (Early Childhood Care and Education).

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree (any stream), prior teaching experience in pre-primary/early years.

Basic proficiency in English, storytelling, rhymes, and craft activities.

Work Experience 0–3 years (freshers with ECCEd also acceptable depending on school requirement).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
