Presales Solutions Consultant

Position Overview

1. Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pre-Sales professional in the capacity of DICT to join our team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will possess strong capabilities in designing integrated software and hardware solutions, managing bids, and coordinating with suppliers & internal Product Teams. This role is pivotal in enhancing the Company’s DICT solution offerings, supporting projects in Pakistan and Iraq, and delivering end-to-end services to our clients.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. DICT Solution Design & Engineering

• Design comprehensive DICT (Digital, Information, and Communication Technology) integration solutions for key sectors including Government, Finance, Energy, Enterprise, Industrial Parks, and Data Centers.

• Develop and maintain standardized solution templates, architectural diagrams, and a reusable case library to drive knowledge sharing and efficiency across the MENA region.

• Conduct initial customer needs assessments, lead technical discussions, and provide solution clarification for major project opportunities.

B. Bid & Tender Management

• Lead the technical response for DICT project bids; responsibilities include compiling technical proposals, drafting commercial sections, creating solution BoMs (Bill of Materials), and conducting cost assessments.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to secure competitive technical solutions, pricing, and delivery commitments.

• Establish and optimize regional bidding processes, templates, and document libraries to improve bid quality and win rates.

C. Supplier & Ecosystem Management

• Assist in building and managing a regional DICT supplier and partner ecosystem, participating in evaluation, selection, and negotiation processes.

• Develop and maintain a price database for hardware and software components to ensure cost-competitive solutions.

• Identify and mitigate project risks related to suppliers and ensure compliance through established supervision mechanisms and regular audits.

3. Qualifications and Requirements

A. Education

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.

B. Experience

• Minimum of 8 years of pre-sales or solution engineering experience in the DICT industry, with a proven track record in supporting large-scale integration projects.

• Experience working for a System Integrator or within a multinational team environment is highly desirable.

C. Technical & Professional Skills

• Strong knowledge of DICT solutions, with demonstrated ability to independently design integrated systems. Good knowledge of software, applications, AI, cloud, and security, complemented by a solid understanding of relevant hardware.

• Proven experience in the end-to-end bid management process, with the ability to independently author high-quality technical proposals.

• Hands-on experience in supplier management and coordinating multi-vendor resources for project delivery.

D. Soft Skills & Abilities

• Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.

• Strong multitasking ability, with a focus on maintaining high efficiency under pressure.

• Superior document writing skills and high proficiency in MS Office Suite (PPT, Word, Excel, Visio).

E. Language & Certifications

• Professional fluency in English, both verbal and written, for technical communication.

• Intermediate or advanced-level certifications in relevant software technologies (e.g., cloud platforms, security) or project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a strong plus.

Note: Candidates with slightly less experience but strong potential may be considered for a junior-level position.
