Job Summary

Duties
- Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical education, and Montessori methods to support diverse learning styles.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that promote respect, cooperation, and independence among children.
- Provide attentive toddler care and infant care, ensuring their safety, comfort, and developmental needs are met daily.
- Use assessment tools such as standardized testing and formative evaluations to monitor each child's progress in areas like childhood development and early intervention.
- Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning and classroom activities that enhance early childhood education outcomes.
- Engage with children through tutoring, storytelling, hands-on activities, and play-based learning to stimulate curiosity and cognitive growth.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any behavioral or developmental concerns.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including classroom experience with infants and toddlers.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, and special education needs.
- Familiarity with curriculum development techniques across various subjects such as literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively through classroom management techniques that foster a respectful learning environment.
- Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; ongoing professional development is encouraged.
