Preschool Lead Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. As a key leader in early childhood education, you will design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum, promote positive behavior, and support the holistic growth of children in your care. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
  • Foster a warm, inclusive classroom environment that promotes social-emotional learning, positive behavior management, and child welfare.
  • Oversee daily classroom activities for preschool-aged children, including toddlers and those requiring special education or early intervention support.
  • Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, behavioral concerns, and developmental milestones through regular updates and parent meetings.
  • Implement classroom management strategies that ensure safety, organization, and smooth transitions throughout the day.
  • Support children’s physical health and well-being by supervising activities like outdoor play and ensuring proper daycare protocols are followed.
  • Maintain detailed records related to child development assessments, standardized testing results, and individualized education plans (IEPs).

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies.
  • Proven experience in curriculum development tailored to preschoolers’ diverse needs.
  • Expertise in classroom management techniques that foster positive behavior and engagement.
  • Hands-on experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings, including toddlers and children with special needs.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and specialists in special education or therapy services.
  • Ability to plan lessons that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical education, and Montessori methodologies.
