Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for implementing engaging lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and collaborating with parents to support each child's growth.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy, math, and physical education through creative activities.
- Create lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students, including those requiring special education or early intervention support.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment that encourages children's exploration and learning.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s development, classroom activities, and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom that is conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the educational experience for all students.
Experience
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Experience with standardized testing and tutoring is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Previous experience in private schools or Montessori settings is advantageous.
