Duties
- Support lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and social-emotional learning.
- Assist with classroom management to promote positive behavior and a respectful learning environment.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and independence.
- Help supervise children during playtime, meals, nap time, and outdoor activities to ensure safety and well-being.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized assistance as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials, supplies, and learning areas.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a collaborative educational atmosphere.
Skills
- Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and best practices in preschool education.
- Experience working with young children in childcare, preschool, or private school settings.
- Knowledge of special education strategies and working with individuals with autism or disabilities.
- Ability to assist with lesson planning and curriculum development across various subjects such as literacy education and math.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
- Classroom management skills to promote positive behavior and create an inclusive environment.
- Familiarity with child-centered teaching methodologies is a plus.

Pay: $11.00 - $16.00 per hour
