Pricing Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Pricing Specialist to join our team. As a Pricing Specialist, you will be responsible for the entry, maintenance, and integrity associated with transportation pricing data managed across multiple clients with accurate and timely entry. The primary focus will be rail freight pricing database and payment mgt. This role requires exceptional attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
- Adding and maintaining customer transportation pricing data for multiple clients
- Communicate with client regarding any missing rates on specific origin/destination locations
- Access carrier website to retrieve freight, demurrage, or other optional services invoices, audit the invoices for accuracy and approve or dispute and send to customer
- Work closely with logistics expeditor to resolve EDI exceptions/rate requests due to missing rates
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders
- Prepare weekly aging statements of outstanding invoices for each client

Experience/Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
- Proven experience in a rail logistics role/rail industry knowledge strongly preferred

- Excellent written and oral communication, problem solving and teamwork skills with the ability to present findings to stakeholders
- Exceptional attention to detail/accuracy
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/clients while meeting customer deadlines
- Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision
- Above average Microsoft Office skills

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
