To provide strategic leadership, academic and administrative oversight to the school, maintain the highest standards of education, discipline and welfare, and ensure the overall development of students, staff, and institution in line with the values of DPS.

Key Responsibilities

Provide academic leadership: oversee curriculum implementation, ensure quality of teaching and learning across all grades.

Manage staff: recruit, supervise, evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff; conduct performance reviews; ensure staff development and training.

Student welfare and discipline: maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment, uphold discipline and student welfare policies.

Administration and operations: oversee all school operations admissions, timetable, facilities, transport, safety, school events, budgeting, compliance and reporting.

Strategic planning: plan and implement school development goals, infrastructure development, academic improvement plans, extra-curricular programs and long-term growth.

Communication and stakeholder management: liaise with parents, staff, governing body, regulatory authorities, and the community; lead parent-teacher interaction, staff meetings and community engagement.

Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements: manage affiliations, statutory compliance, documentation, audits, and school policies.

Promote school culture and values: encourage holistic development, character building, discipline, values and co-curricular excellence.
