Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant- Java, Cypress and Database
The Principal Consultant will lead quality engineering initiatives by designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks, driving test strategy, and ensuring high-quality delivery across complex enterprise applications. This role requires deep expertise in Java-based automation, Cypress, and database validation, along with strong stakeholder and team leadership skills.
Responsibilities

• Define and own the test strategy, automation roadmap, and quality governance for multiple projects
• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Java and Cypress
• Lead end-to-end test automation including UI, API, integration, and regression testing
• Perform database testing and validation using SQL (data integrity, reconciliation, backend verification)
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Review code, enforce best practices, and mentor junior and mid-level consultants
• Collaborate with product, development, DevOps, and business stakeholders
• Identify quality risks early and drive defect prevention rather than detection
• Support release readiness, production validation, and post-release analysis
• Contribute to process improvement, reusability, and automation acceleration initiatives

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java (OOP concepts, test framework development)
• Solid expertise in Cypress for modern web application testing
• Strong knowledge of Databases (Oracle / MySQL / PostgreSQL / SQL Server)
• Writing complex SQL queries
• Data validation and backend testing
• Experience with API testing (REST, JSON, tools like Rest Assured/Postman)
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Bachelor’s/master's in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred qualifications

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive resolution in a collaborative team environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Leadership experience, including leading teams, managing projects, and driving technical initiatives to successful completion.
• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., ISTQB, certifications) are a plus.
