Job Title: Principal – Nursing College

Location: West Bengal
Employment Type: Full-Time (Residential Position)
Lodging & Fooding: Provided by the Institution
Salary: ₹70,000 – ₹95,000 per month

Qualification & Experience:

• Must hold M.Sc. Nursing from a recognized university.
• Minimum 15 years of total professional experience, out of which at least 12 years should be in teaching at a recognized nursing institution.
• Should meet all norms as per Indian Nursing Council (INC) and State Nursing Council guidelines for the post of Principal.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic, academic, and administrative leadership for the nursing college.
• Supervise and guide faculty members, students, and non-teaching staff to ensure excellence in education and discipline.
• Oversee curriculum planning, academic schedules, examinations, and evaluation processes as per INC and university norms.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies (INC, State Nursing Council, and University) and maintain quality standards in teaching and infrastructure.
• Lead initiatives for student welfare, clinical training, placements, and extracurricular activities.
• Promote research, innovation, and professional development within the institution.
• Prepare and manage academic budgets, reports, and accreditation documentation.
• Act as a liaison between the management, faculty, students, and external stakeholders.
• Maintain discipline, ethical standards, and a positive learning environment across the college.
