Position Overview:
NUST Creative Learning School & College (NCLS&C) is a pioneering project under the National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST) , offering a world-class curriculum focusing on holistic student development,academic excellence,and creative,value-driven education.
The Principal of NUST Creative Learning School & College(NCLS&C) will provide visionary leadership to deliver academic excellence,foster innovation,and nurture holistic student development from early years to higher secondary levels. As the institution's chief academic and administrative head, the Principal will lead a dedicated faculty faculty,ensure quality teaching and learning ,and uphold NUST's high standards. The role demands a dynamic leader with proven experience in educational management, strategic planning, and community engagement, committed to preparing students for success in an evolving global landscape.
Qualification & Experience:
Essential:
- Master's degree in education or a relevant subject from an HEC-recognised University, with 10-15 years of progressive experience in school education, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong English communication, proficiency in digital transformation, and a proven track record of institutional improvement are required.
- Preferred academic backgrounds include Education, Innovation in Pedagogy, Educational Leadership, Psychology,English,Computer Science,with experience in Cambridge,and national curricula considered an advantage.
Desirable:
- Master's degree(Academic Leadership and Academic Governance) from a foreign University.
- National and International awards in education.
- International Certification in academics from renowned international Universities.
- International teaching and working experience at various tiers.
- Expertise in curriculum development.
Demonstrable Experience & Core Competencies:
- Leading academic and administrative operations in reputable institutions.
- Implementing curriculum standards (Cambridge and national ) and enhancing teaching quality.
- Driving measurable improvements in academic results,teacher performance,and student outcomes.
- Recruiting,mentoring and developing high-performing faculty.
- Establishing strong engagement with parents,community,and stakeholders.
- Applying educational technology and data-driven strategies for institutional growth.
- Exhibiting exceptional communication,leadership,and interpersonal skills,with a commitment to integrity,inclusivity,and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
The Principal will provide strategic,academic,and administrative leadership for the NUST Creative Learning School and College.
1.Educational Leadership:
- Articulate and implement a clear vision aligned with NUST and district objectives.
- Lead curriculum design,teaching,and assessment to ensure high student achievement.
- Foster faculty excellence through professional development and adoption of best practices.
- Oversee delivery of O Level and F.Sc streams,ensuring rigorous academic standards.
2. Administrative Management:
- Direct daily operations,budgeting,and resource optimisation.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies,regulations,and quality benchmarks.
- Supervise and evaluate staff performance, upholding accountability and professional conduct.
- Maintain a safe, disciplined , and inclusive learning environment.
3.Community Engagement:
- Cultivate constructive relationships with students, parents, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Represent and advocate for the school in official and community forums.
- Facilitate inclusive decision-making processes.
4.Student Support:
- Implement targeted academic,emotional, and behavioural support programs.
- Utilise data-driven approaches to monitor progress and inform interventions.
- Promote leadership, Extracurricular participation,and holistic student development.
5.Professional Growth:
- Pursue continuous professional learning and reflective practice.
- Engage with educational networks to exchange knowledge and strengthen partnerships.
- Exemplify integrity,professionalism,and ethical leadership.
Terms & Conditions:
- Candidates are required to attach scanned copies of their documents (Academics / Professional).
- Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC.
Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons:
- 3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.
- NUST employees with less than one year of service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.
- In process of pursuing a required degree.
- Medically unfit.
- Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter.
- Candidates serving in Govt departments, Armed forces may apply through their respective parent department / organizations.
- Late / incomplete applications will be ignored.
- Only short-listed candidates will be considered / called for test / interview and no TA / DA will be admissible.
- NUST reserves the right to cancel, modify / terminate the recruitment programme due to any reason, without notice, at any time.
