We’re looking for hands-on engineers with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems in distributed systems, virtualized infrastructure, and highly available storage services. As a Principal Member of Technical Staff, you will own the software design and development for major components of the Storage Service Infrastructure. You should be both a rock solid coder and a distributed systems generalist, able to dive deep into any part of the Control Plane stack and low level systems, as well as design broad distributed system interactions. Minimum Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience delivering large scale, highly available distributed systems and backend services.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, multi-threading, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.
• Extensive experience developing clean code in Java (or similar object oriented language), as well as scripting languages such as Python.
• Strong understanding of storage systems (block / object / file) and distributed persistence technologies.
• System design experience on designing complex distributed system with ultra low latency and very high throughput.
