Print & Mail Production Specialist

Overview
Mailroom Pros is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Print & Mail Production Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in print production and a passion for delivering high-quality printed materials. This role involves operating printing equipment & mailing equipment to ensure quality control throughout the printing process.

Printing Duties

• Operate digital printer to produce high-quality printed materials.
• Collaborate with graphic designer to meet project requirements and specifications.
• Manage prepress processes, including file preparation, color management, layout design, and sample production.
• Conduct quality control checks throughout the printing process to ensure accuracy and consistency in color, typography, and overall layout.
• Troubleshoot errors and perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in printing technology to enhance production efficiency.

Mailroom Duties

• Operate letter inserters, meters, and mail sorting equipment.
• Ensure accurate sorting and labeling of mail items.
• Prepare mail for delivery to the US Postal Service.
• Troubleshoot errors and perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Drive company vehicle to pick up & drop off mail.
• Load and unload mail trucks using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts.

Requirements

• Proficiency in prepress software including Fiery and Fusion.
• Knowledge of printing techniques and color management systems is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in print production or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of graphic design principles, including typography and layout design.
• Familiarity with machine processes is a plus.
• Ability to handle heavy lifting and perform physical tasks as required.
• Experience operating forklifts is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
