Are you mechanically inclined, curious about how machines work, and ready to build real technical skills? We’re looking for a Process Technician in our Print department to help keep our production equipment running smoothly and efficiently.

In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced technicians and engineers to assemble, install, operate, test, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment. What you'll do...

Develop knowledge of processes, equipment, materials, and products
Set-up, operate, test, and participate in troubleshooting production equipment
Adhere to established tolerances and adjust machinery as required
Read and interpret basic drawings, schematics, and bills of material
Diagnose and repair basic mechanical equipment and instruments
Operate power and manual hand tools
Monitor instruments and equipment and collect operating data including calibration, inspection, testing, and repair activities to assist in making adjustments to instruments and equipment
Fabricate and assemble new or modified mechanical components and machinery
Provide technical support to engineers or higher level technicians to achieve improvements in cycle-time, yield, unit cost, quality, safety and compliance of production and operations processes
Assist with maintaining an adequate spare parts inventory and ordering new or replacement parts
Collaborate with production personnel and other departments to gather information and draft reports, and improve equipment, processes, and products

What you'll need...

High school diploma or equivalent and technical training or experience in manufacturing equipment and processes, mechanical or machine maintenance and installation
Proficiency in using powered and manual hand tools such as soldering iron, multimeter, wrench, hammer, screwdriver, etc.
Math skills to include decimals and fractions
Ability to read and understand technical documentation such as manuals, catalogues, schematics, or prints
Familiar with production tooling and equipment and testing equipment
Ability to learn and understand production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of products
Good verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related processes
