Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Printing Bindery Operator to join our vibrant manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing the finishing processes that bring printed materials to life, ensuring high-quality standards are met with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will help transform raw printed sheets into polished, professional products ready for distribution. Duties
- Operate and monitor various bindery equipment including cutters, folders, stitchers, and binding machines to assemble printed materials accurately and efficiently.
- Set up machines according to job specifications, adjusting settings for different paper types, sizes, and finishes.
- Perform quality control checks throughout the finishing process to ensure color accuracy, proper alignment, and defect-free products.
- Manage prepress tasks such as layout adjustments, color management, and preparing files using Adobe Creative Suite for optimal print results.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
- Use CNC machining tools when necessary for custom finishing or component fabrication related to print projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience in printing or manufacturing environments, especially with screen printing, flexo press operations, or CNC machinery.
- Strong knowledge of prepress processes including layout design, typography, color management, and digital file preparation.
- Familiarity with graphic design principles and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Ability to operate bindery equipment such as cutters, folders, stitchers, and binding machines safely and effectively.
- Experience with quality control procedures to ensure consistency in print advertising products.
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards and ability to operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment if required.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision in layout design and finishing techniques.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
