Private Equity Partner

Job Overview

A Private Equity Partner leads investment strategy, sources and evaluates opportunities, oversees due diligence, and makes final investment decisions. The role also includes managing investor relationships, supporting portfolio companies, guiding exits, and representing the firm externally.

Typical Responsibilities

  • Source new investment opportunities through networks and market relationships.
  • Lead due diligence, valuation review, and deal structuring.
  • Make final go/no-go investment decisions.
  • Monitor and support portfolio companies, often through board involvement and strategic guidance.
  • Maintain LP/investor relationships and support fundraising.
  • Represent the firm in negotiations, industry events, and public forums.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in private equity, investment banking, consulting, or corporate development.
  • Excellent financial analysis, valuation, and deal execution skills.
  • Proven ability to build networks, raise capital, and manage senior stakeholders.
  • Leadership experience with board-level or portfolio-company oversight.
  • Advanced degree such as an MBA is often preferred, though requirements vary by firm.

Pay: QAR400.00 - QAR1,100.00 per hour
