Process Engineer Chemical

Biotech Energy Pvt. Ltd is looking for Process Engineer Chemical for its plant in Sheikhupura. The candidate must have B.E./BSc in Chemical Engineering. Chemical Process Engineers' job duties to designs, optimizes, and manages manufacturing processes to convert raw materials into products safely and efficiently. developing heat/material balances, designing equipment (P&IDs), troubleshooting operations, enhancing production yields, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Design & Optimization: Develops process flow diagrams (PFDs), heat and material balances, and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Equipment Specification: Sizes and selects equipment (pumps, reactors, heat exchangers) and issues process data sheets.
• Troubleshooting & Analysis: Analyzes production data to identify bottlenecks, reduce costs, increase efficiency, and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensures processes adhere to environmental, safety, and quality standards, including conducting risk assessments (HAZOP).
• Simulation & Modeling: Uses simulation software (e.g., ASPEN, ChemCAD, HYSYS) to design and test new processes or modifications.
• Project Management: Oversees process improvements, manages project budgets, and coordinates with cross-functional teams.

Experience:

• 6~7 years in process engineering
• Prior experience with OGDC is mandatory
• Experience in process calculations, PFDs, P&IDs, commissioning & troubleshooting

Computer Skill Requirements:

• MS Office (Excel - advanced for calculations)
• Process simulation tools (Aspen / HYSYS - preferred)
• Preparation and review of PFDs, P&IDs

Pay: Rs200,000.00 - Rs275,000.00 per month
