Fabrication Engineer

Biotech Energy (Pvt.) Ltd. is looking for a Fabrication Engineer Mechanical for its Sheikhupura Plant . Candidate must have strong understanding of mechanical engineering, materials science, and manufacturing processes. Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints. The other Key Responsibilities are :

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Development: Research, design, modify, and develop fabricated products, tools, jigs, and fixtures.
• Process Improvement: Apply engineering principles to optimize manufacturing methods, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
• Project Planning: Plan material requirements, create production schedules, and estimate costs (labor, materials).
• Production Oversight: Supervise staff, manage work orders, coordinate with vendors, and ensure production goals are met.
• Quality & Safety: Perform inspections, maintain quality standards, conduct root cause analysis (like 8D/MRB), and manage risk (FMEA).
• Technical Support: Analyze technical drawings (blueprints), provide manufacturing information, and resolve technical challenges.

Qualification:

B.E./BSc in Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

• 4~5 years in fabrication of vessels, tanks, piping & structures
• Knowledge of welding procedures, NDT, QA/QC requirements
• Familiar with ASME Section VIII, IX

Computer Skill Requirements:

• Preparation of daily/weekly site reports
• AutoCad for fabrication drawings
• Preparation of fabrication reports, WPS/WPQR documentation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs130,000.00 per month
