Utilities Engineer

Biotech energy pvt. ltd is looking for Utilities Engineer for its Sheikhupura plant. The candidate must have B.E./BSc Mechanical / Chemical Engineering. Utility engineers design, operate, and maintain critical infrastructure systems—including water, gas, electric, and HVAC—to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable service for industrial or public use.

Core Responsibilities & Duties

• System Maintenance and Operations: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, repairs, and calibration on equipment such as boilers, steam systems, compressed air, and water treatment systems.
• Design and Infrastructure Planning: Develop and implement plans for new utility infrastructure, including power grids, pipelines, and distribution networks.
• Troubleshooting and Emergency Response: Rapidly diagnose system failures, conduct root cause analysis, and lead repairs to minimize downtime during outages.
• Energy Management and Optimization: Analyze utility consumption data to develop initiatives that reduce energy usage and improve system efficiency.
• Regulatory Compliance and Safety: Ensure all systems adhere to local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations.
• Project Management: Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to manage capital projects, installations, and infrastructure upgrades.

Experience:

• 7~8 years in utilities systems (steam, boilers, compressors, cooling water, air, nitrogen, H2 plant)
• Commissioning and operation exposure preferred
• Experience from reputed chemical / fertilizer / oil & gas industries

Computer Skill Requirements:

• Monitoring and reporting of utilities performance
• Review of P&IDs and operating manuals
• Basic CMMS or maintenance reporting tools (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs300,000.00 - Rs400,000.00 per month
