Process Engineer

The role involves installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of machines to ensure smooth operations, compliance with food safety standards, and customer satisfaction. This position requires strong process knowledge, hands-on technical skills, and the ability to work closely with customers in diverse environments.

Key Responsibilities:

§ Install, commission, and validate food & dairy machinery (pasteurizers, homogenizers, and separators, knowledge of UHT systems and evaporators is an added advantage.

§ Analyse machine performance and optimize processes for efficiency, product quality, and energy/resource savings.

§ Provide technical support for new projects, modifications, and upgrades.

§ Document site activities, service reports, and process improvement recommendations.

§ Collaborate with internal teams (sales & service) to provide customer feedback for product and process improvement.

§ Travel frequently to customer sites for service and project support.

Qualifications & Skills:

§ Education: B-tech or Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, or related field.

§ Experience: 3–5 years of experience in dairy/food machinery installation, commissioning, or technical service.

§ Hands-on knowledge of dairy & food processing equipment and their operations.

§ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

§ Knowledge of process automation, PLC/SCADA systems is an advantage.

§ Strong customer service orientation and ability to work independently at client sites.
