Process Engineer (Film Line / Extrusion) (Kotri Hyderabad)

Department: Production – Film Line

Location: Kotri, SITE Industrial Area, Sindh

Reporting To: Production Manager

Job Purpose

To operate and manage the ABC/ABA film extrusion line for manufacturing stretch and shrink films, ensuring stable production and quality output.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor ABC/ABA film extrusion lines.

• Produce stretch and shrink films according to required specifications.

• Set machine parameters: temperature profiles, die settings, IBC air, screw RPM, air ring adjustments.

• Manage start-up, shutdown, and job changeovers.

• Monitor film thickness (micron), melt pressure, and bubble stability.

• Conduct basic troubleshooting (gels, pinholes, wrinkles, gauge variation).

• Handle mesh filter changes and routine operational checks.

• Maintain machine logs, production records, and ensure housekeeping.

• Coordinate with QC for quality confirmation and adjustments.

• Follow all safety protocols and SOPs.

Requirements

• 2–5 years experience operating ABC/ABA film lines.

• Strong knowledge of stretch and shrink film production.

• Understanding of LDPE/LLDPE blends, including recycled materials.

• Ability to troubleshoot and adjust machine parameters effectively.
