Job Description

RB Intelligence Oil Tech is seeking a highly experienced Process Engineering Manager to join our innovation-driven team at Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM). This role is designed for a technical leader who can bridge the gap between traditional oil tech processes and modern, intelligent engineering solutions.

You will lead a high-caliber team of engineers to design, implement, and optimize industrial processes that maximize production efficiency while maintaining the highest safety standards. As a manager, you will play a key role in integrating "intelligent" workflows—leveraging the tech-forward environment of KOM to keep RB Intelligence at the forefront of the Omani energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Leadership: Direct and oversee the design and optimization of chemical and mechanical processes for oil and gas applications.
• Innovation Integration: Collaborate with digital teams within KOM to implement smart monitoring and automated process controls.
• Project Management: Manage the full lifecycle of process engineering projects, ensuring delivery on time and within the OMR 3,500/month executive budget frameworks.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce rigorous HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and ensure all processes meet Omani regulatory requirements.
• Performance Analysis: Conduct root-cause analysis on process deviations and implement long-term corrective actions to improve refinery/field yield.
• Mentorship: Build and develop a world-class engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field. a Master’s degree or professional certification (CEng/P.E.) is highly desirable.
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership or management capacity.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of process simulation software (HYSYS, Aspen Plus) and P&ID development.
• Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to translate complex technical challenges into profitable business outcomes.
• Location: Based at our headquarters in Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM)—Oman’s premier tech hub.
