Procurement Assistant

Job Summary

The Procurement Assistant supports the procurement team in sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating materials, products, and services required by the company. The role involves handling purchase orders, supplier communication, documentation, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining accurate procurement records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and processing purchase orders and purchase requisitions
  • Coordinate with suppliers regarding quotations, deliveries, and invoices
  • Compare prices and evaluate supplier quotations
  • Maintain procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases
  • Follow up on pending orders and ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Coordinate with internal departments regarding purchasing requirements
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock replenishment
  • Support procurement team in vendor registration and evaluation
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
  • Assist in preparing procurement reports and documentation

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
  • Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or administrative support is preferred
  • Good knowledge of procurement processes and supplier coordination
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Good organizational and time management abilities
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with ERP systems or procurement software
  • Basic understanding of inventory management
  • Ability to multitask and coordinate with different departments

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • Procurement: 2 years (Preferred)
