We are looking for a “Procurement Category Superviso r” to take part in Şişecam Headquarters located in Tuzla / Istanbul. The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:

• Graduated from universities, preferably with a degree in engineering
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar position
• Knowledgeable about the IT category and supplier market, with hands-on experience in IT procurement
• Proficiency in SRM, MS Office and SAP (Advanced Excel and PowerPoint are prefered)
• Good command of English

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Managing all demands and strategies related to the assigned category
• Identifying, creating, and onboarding alternative suppliers within the category
• Developing alternative products and suppliers, defining procurement strategies, exploring opportunities for demand consolidation, and identifying strategic products and suppliers
• Researching low-cost sourcing markets and creating necessary opportunities when needed
• Developing suppliers and products, implementing alternative supplier and material improvements, and making suppliers strategic
• Collaborating with all stakeholders to implement global category procurement strategies and ensuring alignment of these strategies
• Conducting market research and analysis for the relevant category
• Defining category strategies and creating/updating category-specific procurement methods
