Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking a Procurement Clerk to join our team.
In this role you will provide material procurement support to the purchasing department for EAS companies. You will perform a variety of duties such as copying, filing, order entry, material tracking and posting data. You will follow instructions for multiple project requirements and conflicting priorities.

SCHEDULE:
-
7:30am-5:30pm, Monday-Thursday
-
7:30am-11:30am Friday
RESPONSBILITIES:
-
Provide material procurement support activities for manufacturing and construction teams.

Responsible for assisting with order entry, maintaining files and paperwork.

Assist with entering purchase orders, tracking orders, and providing reports for project management.

Answer phones and provide back up to the receptionist as needed.

Assist with credit card receipts and petty cash reconciliation.

Assist with equipment rentals and rental returns.

Assist and support accounting with the invoice approval process.

Maintain up-to-date paper and electronic order files for follow-up on materials purchased.

Update and maintain master PO log books and PM log books.

Follow standard procurement procedures set for the department.

Provide backup to team members as needed for the success of the department

Train other team members as needed to maintain the success of the department.

Individual tasks as set by the department supervisor to maintain proper work flow.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

This position requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.

Advanced education in office management is a plus, but not required.

This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in an office environment, preferably in a manufacturing purchasing department.
