Martell Mechanical is one of Nova Scotia’s fastest-growing mechanical contractors,

specializing in plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration. We’re a team that values

organization, teamwork, and accountability — and we’re looking for a Procurement

Coordinator who thrives on structure, accuracy, and efficiency.

You’ll lead purchasing and inventory operations working with dispatch and shop team to

ensure every tool, part, and piece of material is exactly where it needs to be, when it’s

needed.

What You’ll Do

● Oversee all purchasing and inventory control for the plumbing, HVAC, and

refrigeration divisions

● Supervise and support the shop team to maintain organization, accuracy, and

accountability

● Monitor and optimize stock levels to ensure projects have materials on time and

within budget

● Manage and negotiate vendor and supplier relationships, pricing, and delivery

performance

● Coordinate material logistics for multiple project sites and field teams

● Develop purchasing workflows in Simpro to streamline ordering and cost

tracking

● Work with accounting and project management teams to ensure POs and job

costs are accurate

● Assist with tool management, equipment tracking, and warehouse layout

optimization

What We’re Looking For

● 3–5 years of experience in procurement, inventory, or materials management

(construction or mechanical industry preferred)

● Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail

● Experience with inventory or job management systems such as Simpro, Jonas,

or QuickBooks

● Proven negotiation skills and ability to maintain long-term supplier relationships

● Leadership ability to guide and develop a small, high-performing team

● A proactive, self-driven individual who takes pride in creating order and

accountability
