Procurement Engineer

Name of the position : Engineer - Procurement

Qualification : DME / BE / B.Tech

Age : 25 to 35 yrs

Location : Kanuvai, Coimbatore

Experience : 3 to 5 years in material procurement in the manufacturing industry

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for procurement of materials and components for manufacturing operations
• Evaluate and select vendors based on price, quality, and delivery timelines
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Conduct inward quality checks in coordination with the quality team
• Maintain and update procurement records in ERP systems
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and optimize procurement strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, design, and quality
• Vendor development and relationship management
• Willing to travel for vendor visits, audits, and negotiations

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
