Procurement Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure marble, stone, and related materials from approved local and international suppliers.
• Obtain RFQs, prepare comparisons, negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with project, technical, and design teams to understand material specifications and quantities.
• Issue purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Ensure materials meet required quality standards and project specifications.
• Maintain supplier relationships and evaluate supplier performance.
• Manage procurement documentation, contracts, and records.
• Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 3–6 years of procurement experience, preferably in marble/stone or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of marble types, finishes, specifications, and sourcing.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP/procurement systems.
