Procurement Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is crucial in managing procurement processes for our construction and mixed-use development projects. The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge of the construction industry and a proven track record in procurement strategies.

Professional certifications such as MRICS or CIOB required for our shortlist.

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for construction and mixed-use projects
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
• Analyze costs, prepare budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Oversee the entire procurement process, from requisition to delivery
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
• Maintain compliance with company policies, local regulations, and industry standards
• Evaluate and manage supplier performance
• Implement and optimize procurement systems and processes
• Stay updated on market trends and innovations in construction procurement
• Mentor and guide junior procurement team members
  
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, specifically in construction and mixed-use projects
• Proven expertise in contract negotiation, supply chain management, and cost analysis
• Strong knowledge of construction industry practices and mixed-use development projects
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian construction regulations and standards
• Proficiency in project management software and ERP systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Professional certifications such as MRICS or CIOB required for our shortlist
• Fluency in English
