Procurement Engineer

Job Purpose

To plan, source, and procure materials, equipment, and subcontracted services required for construction projects in a timely and cost-effective manner while ensuring quality, contractual, and compliance requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement project-specific procurement plans aligned with construction schedules.
• Identify, evaluate, and pre-qualify suppliers and subcontractors.
• Obtain, analyze, and compare quotations; prepare technical and commercial bid evaluations.
• Issue purchase orders and subcontracts in accordance with approved budgets and contracts.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, QS, and Site teams to confirm specifications and delivery timelines.
• Track material deliveries, follow up with vendors, and resolve supply or quality issues.
• Ensure materials comply with technical specifications, drawings, and project standards.
• Maintain procurement documentation, vendor records, and procurement MIS.
• Support cost control by negotiating prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and ethical procurement practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical)
• 3–7 years of procurement experience in construction or infrastructure projects
• Experience with EPC, high-rise buildings, roads, school projects or industrial projects preferred

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
