Senior Procurement Package Manager – Post Contract MEP

Are you a technically strong MEP professional who understands how specifications, IFC drawings, and vendor submissions must align - not just in theory, but in governed procurement execution?


We are looking for a Senior Procurement Package Manager (MEP) to join our newly established Post-Contract Technical Procurement Department - a high-visibility function created to strengthen technical governance, compliance, and structured procurement execution across the business.

As a Senior Procurement Package Manager, you will:

This is a strategic, high-impact role - not a transactional procurement position.


Your Role

Reporting to the Head of Post Contract Technical Procurement, you will lead the technical governance and compliance of post-contract MEP procurement packages from contract award through to procurement execution.

You will ensure that all MEP systems and equipment are technically compliant with IFT/IFC documentation, design intent, authority requirements, and contractual obligations.


Key Responsibilities

Technical Review & Compliance

  • Review MEP systems against IFT/IFC specifications, schedules, and design intent
  • Identify risks, gaps, and compliance issues across procurement packages
  • Challenge inconsistencies between tender, IFC, and vendor submissions
  • Ensure alignment with authority requirements and consultant approvals


Technical Submittals & Governance

  • Lead production and review of technical submittals and compliance matrices
  • Maintain structured and auditable procurement trackers
  • Oversee gap analysis and technical clarifications
  • Ensure documentation integrity and traceability


Post-Contract Procurement Execution

  • Manage MEP procurement packages from award to order placement
  • Work closely with engineering, commissioning, and commercial teams
  • Ensure technical compliance is embedded throughout procurement lifecycle
  • Maintain accountability against programme milestones


Stakeholder Engagement

  • Engage confidently with engineering, commissioning, and commercial teams
  • Interface with consultants and vendors on technical matters
  • Provide structured technical reporting to senior management


Team Development

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering

Experience

  • Demonstrable experience in MEP contracting or technically driven engineering environments
  • Strong exposure to post-contract technical review and compliance of MEP systems
  • Experience on large-scale commercial, infrastructure, or mixed-use developments (Middle East preferred)

Technical Capability

  • Strong understanding of specifications, drawings, BOQs, and authority requirements
  • Proven experience managing compliance matrices and technical procurement trackers
  • Ability to interpret, challenge, and validate technical information
  • Structured, accountable, and detail-oriented mindset
