As our fleet continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Fleet Procurement Officer to support and optimize our fleet operations.
Job Summary
The Fleet Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and acquiring vehicles for the company’s limousine fleet, ensuring cost efficiency, quality standards, compliance with UAE regulations, and timely fleet expansion or replacement. The role also oversees vendor management, vehicle lifecycle planning, and coordination with finance and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities1. Fleet Procurement & Vendor Management
- Identify and negotiate with authorized vehicle dealers (e.g., Mercedes, Lexus, Toyota, etc.).
- Source new and replacement vehicles aligned with company standards.
- Obtain competitive quotations and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and service packages.
- Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, after-sales support, and warranty terms.
- Maintain strong relationships with automotive vendors and financing partners.
2. Cost Control & Budgeting
- Prepare procurement budgets for fleet expansion and replacement.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis for purchase vs. lease options.
- Monitor vehicle market trends and resale values.
- Ensure procurement aligns with company financial targets.
3. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all vehicles comply with UAE RTA regulations.
- Coordinate registration, insurance, permits, and licensing.
- Maintain proper procurement documentation and approval records.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policy.
4. Fleet Planning & Lifecycle Management
- Monitor fleet performance and replacement cycles.
- Coordinate with operations for vehicle allocation and deployment.
- Plan disposal or resale of old vehicles.
- Analyze fleet utilization data to recommend procurement strategies.
5. Coordination & Reporting
- Work closely with Operations, Finance, and Maintenance departments.
- Prepare procurement reports, vendor comparisons, and cost analysis.
- Present procurement plans to management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fleet operations, fleet coordination, or automotive/transport operations.
- Strong knowledge of UAE automotive market and RTA regulations.
- Proven experience in fleet purchasing, fleet procurement, automotive purchasing, price negotiation, and bank facility coordination.
- Strong working knowledge of Odoo ERP and other fleet or asset management systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
