The Procurement Manager is responsible for leading and executing end-to-end procurement activities across the airline's operational, commercial, and corporate functions. The role ensures compliance with internal governance, cost-control frameworks, and contractual standards while driving procurement excellence, supplier performance, and cross-functional alignment. The position plays a key role in managing vendor relationships, optimizing cost structures, and ensuring continuity of supply across all stations and departments
Responsibilities:

Develop a sourcing strategy for airline categories including ground handling, catering, inflight products, and logistics

Align procurement activities with organizational goals and budget constraints

Conduct market research and price comparisons for informed decision-making

Utilize competitive sourcing methods (RFP, RFQ) while following governance policies

Collaborate with Legal and Finance on vendor contracts and ensure compliance with aviation standards

Track contract renewals and manage the renegotiation process to prevent service disruptions

Uphold procurement policies and monitor vendor compliance through SLAs and KPIs

Nurture relationships with suppliers and oversee vendor onboarding processes

Monitor vendor performance and address any deviations with operational teams

Lead evaluations of offers and validate financial documentation against contracts

Assist with cost-saving initiatives and maintain dashboards for procurement savings

Manage sourcing for crew uniforms and ensure logistics lifecycle accuracy

Coordinate with various teams to support operational needs and provide internal sourcing assistance

Engage in audits and standardize procurement practices while maintaining organized documentation

Prepare monthly procurement reports and ensure compliance with aviation audit standards
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Aviation Management, or related field

Minimum 5-7 years of procurement experience, preferably in aviation, hospitality, or supply chain-intensive environments

Strong understanding of contracting, negotiation, logistics, and procurement governance

Experience managing multiple vendors and categories in a fast-paced, multi-station environment

Excellent analytical, financial, and commercial evaluation skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and procurement tools
