Procurement Engineer

Elegancia Arabia is seeking a highly capable Procurement Engineer to support the delivery of large-scale projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical engineering knowledge with strategic procurement expertise, ensuring cost-effective, timely, and quality-driven sourcing of materials and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for large-scale engineering and construction projects.
• Review technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs to ensure accurate sourcing and compliance with project requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors within the KSA market.
• Leverage an established local supplier network to secure competitive pricing and reliable delivery timelines.
• Prepare RFQs/RFPs, conduct bid analysis, and lead commercial and technical evaluations.
• Coordinate closely with project, engineering, and finance teams to align procurement strategies with project milestones.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and contractual obligations.
• Utilize SAP for procurement planning, purchase orders, tracking, and reporting.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to optimize procurement strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related discipline).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement for large-scale projects (e.g., construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects).
• Proven experience working within the KSA market , with a strong network of suppliers and vendors.
• Hands-on experience with SAP (MM module preferred) for procurement processes.
• Strong understanding of technical specifications and engineering requirements.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project timelines simultaneously.
• Currently based in KSA or with significant prior experience in the region (preferred).
