Procurement Engineer – Construction

AESOM is a leading construction and engineering firm specializing in architectural, civil, and MEP projects. We are looking for a qualified Procurement Engineer to strengthen our project execution team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review BOQs, drawings, and project specifications to identify material requirements.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers/vendors for construction materials and equipment.
• Prepare purchase orders, procurement schedules, and material submittals.
• Ensure compliance with technical standards, project requirements, and company policies.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, and site teams for timely delivery of materials.
• Track shipments, resolve delivery issues, and maintain vendor records.
• Support cost-control measures and ensure budget alignment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with relevant procurement experience).
• 3–5 years’ experience in procurement within construction, EPC, or contracting.
• Strong knowledge of BOQs, material specifications, and vendor evaluation.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
