Procurement Engineer - EPC

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market surveys to identify potential qualified suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors capable of providing the necessary materials and services during the construction and commissioning phases.
  • Maintain and update a comprehensive log of qualified suppliers and subcontractors, detailing the services each can offer.
  • Prepare and distribute Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to potential suppliers and subcontractors based on project requirements, and ensure diligent follow-up.
  • Prepare technical and commercial bid evaluations in accordance with the company's procedures.
  • Engage with both new and existing suppliers to negotiate terms that are favorable to the organization.
  • Provide daily updates to the Procurement Manager regarding procurement-related progress and any potential delays.
  • Engage in sourcing activities, liaise with, and negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with both new and existing suppliers to enhance business operations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate Contracts and Purchase Orders, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.
  • Monitor and expedite the delivery of materials from suppliers and vendors to ensure alignment with the project schedule.
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and procurement management skills.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • 4 - 6 years of procurement experience in the Oil/Gas and Petrochemicals field.
  • Foreign procurement and logistics.
  • Construction Background is a plus.
