Procurement Engineer – US Based Solar Campaign

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Engineer with proven expertise in US-based solar campaigns. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in sourcing, negotiating, and managing vendors for solar projects, ensuring quality compliance, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. This role requires strong technical knowledge of solar equipment, US market procurement procedures, and the ability to coordinate seamlessly with international teams.

Responsibilities:

• Source and procure solar equipment, components, and materials as per project requirements.
• Evaluate vendors and suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Prepare RFQs, compare bids, and negotiate terms with suppliers in the US market.
• Ensure compliance with US solar industry standards and project specifications.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and logistics partners.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and operations teams to meet procurement timelines.
• Track and manage procurement budgets, ensuring cost control.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for auditing purposes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• Proven experience in procurement for US-based solar projects (minimum 1–2 years).
• Strong knowledge of solar energy systems, components, and installation requirements.
• Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and cost analysis skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Understanding of US import/export regulations and logistics.
• Strong communication skills in English (written & verbal).

Shift: US Shift – 6:00PM to 3:00AM, (Monday To Friday)
