1. Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers.

2. Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors.

3. Negotiating contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers.

4. Assessing the quality and specifications of materials required for projects.

5. Ensuring materials meet engineering and project standards.

6. Collaborating with design and engineering teams to understand material requirements.

7. Preparing and managing budgets for procurement.

8. Analysing cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

9. Monitoring and controlling project procurement costs.

10. Developing procurement strategies and schedules.

11. Coordinating with project managers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

12. Planning for long lead-time items and critical materials.

13. Identifying potential risks in the supply chain.

14. Ensuring that materials and equipment meet required standards and specifications.

15. Monitoring inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock.

16. Coordinating with warehouse and logistics teams for material handling and storage.

17. Implementing inventory control measures to reduce excess stock and minimize waste.

18. Maintaining accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance.

19. Generating reports on procurement activities and supplier performance.

20. Ensuring all procurement documentation complies with company policies and regulations.

21. Ensuring suppliers adhere to ethical standards and fair labor practices.

22. Implementing best practices and innovative procurement solutions.

23. Staying updated with industry trends and advancements in procurement technology.
