Procurement Executive

Heka Healthcare Services is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Procurement Executive to join our Central Procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while maintaining compliance with organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Operations

• Prepare and issue RFQs to pre-approved suppliers.
• Act as the liaison between clinics and Central Procurement.
• Validate purchase requests from doctors, supervisors, and end users.
• Support clinic-level procurement reports and expenditure analysis.
• Review supplier proposals, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Assist in inventory management.
• Maintain updated supplier and price lists, along with legal documents.
• Contribute to procurement forecasts, budgets, and cash flow management.

Supplier Management

• Research, evaluate, and recommend suppliers in coordination with Central Procurement.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contracts.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.

ERP & Master Data Management

• Maintain supplier and item master data in ERP systems.
• Ensure data integrity for smooth procurement operations.

Compliance & Policy Adherence

• Enforce organizational procurement policies.
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain organized procurement records.

Market Research & Cost Optimization

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers.
• Analyse market trends to anticipate and manage price fluctuations.

Process Improvement

• Continuously evaluate procurement processes for efficiency.
• Recommend and implement innovative solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement/supply chain, with 3+ years in healthcare clinic operations (preferably dermatology and dental).
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Sage, Odoo, Nav).
• Strong knowledge of dermatology/dental items.
• Certification in procurement/supply chain (CIPS, CPSM, etc.) is an added advantage.
