Seamless speciality group of company one of the division of food and beverages is a growing organization engaged in the trading and supply of key commodities such as rice, maize, and other grains also manufacturing beverages, also companies planned to expand the operations in pan India used across distilleries, food, and beverage industries. With operations expanding pan-India, the company aims to establish a strong and efficient procurement network, ensuring timely sourcing, quality assurance, and best market pricing through reliable suppliers and traders.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Procurement Head who can lead, manage, and strengthen the entire procurement operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing procurement teams, identifying reliable suppliers, and maintaining strong relationships with traders and mandi contacts across India.

The individual must be strict, disciplined, and result-oriented, with an excellent understanding of ground-level realities, market trends, and negotiation dynamics in the agri-commodity sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the entire procurement department, ensuring seamless coordination across all sourcing locations.
• Develop and execute strategic procurement plans aligned with company goals and operational requirements.
• Identify and establish direct contacts with traders, mandis, mills, and suppliers across all major procurement zones in India.
• Maintain and expand a robust database of sourcing partners for commodities like rice, maize, malt.
• Ensure timely procurement with best commercial terms, focusing on quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
• Supervise all team members, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to company policies and timelines.
• Coordinate with sales, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of supply orders.
• Provide regular market intelligence reports and updates on price movements, crop conditions, and trader activities.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts ensuring statutory compliance, transparency, and profitability.
• Implement process improvements to enhance sourcing efficiency and minimize risks.
• Ensure all documentation, reports, and records are accurate, updated, and submitted on time.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 20 years in procurement, preferably in distilleries, grains, or FMCG sectors.
• Proven expertise in handling end-to-end procurement, team leadership, and supplier management.
• Strong network and contacts in major mandis, mills, and trading markets across India.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Must possess a ground-level understanding of sourcing operations, logistics, and market trends.
• Capable of managing multiple teams and ensuring strict compliance with company objectives.
• Strong leadership with a disciplinary and structured work approach.

Salary: 1.5L TO 2.5L

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
