Job Description

As the Procurement Manager, you will play a strategic and key role in managing the end-to-end procurement process. You will lead procurement strategies and ensure the smooth operation of the department, from supplier negotiations and contract management to cost optimization. This role requires a balance of strong leadership, strategic thinking, and operational excellence. You will be instrumental in setting up procurement systems, fostering strong vendor relationships, and collaborating across teams to align procurement processes with company goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Administrative Sciences, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a technology-driven company.
• Proven leadership experience, including team management, system creation, and stakeholder management.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and cost analysis skills.
• Expertise in developing and executing strategic procurement plans and systems.
• High proficiency in MS Office tools and procurement software.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Turkish.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of strategic procurement plans aligned with the company’s goals.
• Oversee end-to-end procurement activities, including supplier selection, contract negotiations, and cost management.
• Manage supplier relationships and ensure timely, quality delivery of goods and services.
• Drive the continuous improvement of procurement processes and systems, ensuring that they remain agile, effective, and innovative environments.
• Foster strong relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure collaboration and support for business objectives.
• Act as the main point of contact between suppliers, third-party vendors, and internal teams to ensure the best practices in procurement are maintained.
• Define and monitor key procurement KPIs, continuously improving processes for cost control, efficiency, and quality.
• Ensure compliance with procurement regulations, corporate policies, and industry standards.
• Manage the procurement process for corporate events, ensure tailored strategies for both office-based and external event concepts, handling unique purchasing needs for these activities.
• Implement and maintain procurement frameworks to guarantee cost-effective and high-quality acquisitions.
• Manage the procurement budget and optimize spend across various categories, ensuring value for money.
• Mentor, develop, and manage a high-performing procurement team, ensuring the team is equipped to handle evolving business needs and implement best practices.
