SUMMARY:
As the Procurement Manager, you will lead sourcing and purchasing activities that support both our retail stores and eCommerce operations. This role is critical in ensuring product availability, managing vendor relationships, and driving cost efficiency while maintaining AMain’s commitment to quality and innovation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Procurement Strategy & Execution

Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with company growth objectives.

Manage purchasing across multiple product categories, ensuring timely delivery and optimal stock levels.
Vendor & Supplier Management

Build, negotiate, and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing, quality products, and favorable terms.

Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Identify and onboard new vendors to expand product selection and support growth.
Cost & Inventory Management

Analyze market trends and pricing data to optimize sourcing decisions.

Collaborate with inventory planning to balance stock availability with carrying costs.

Drive cost savings initiatives without compromising product quality or customer experience.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with merchandising, marketing, and operations teams to support product launches, promotions, and seasonal demand.

Work closely with finance to ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and spend tracking.
Process Improvement & Compliance

Implement best practices in procurement processes, contracts, and vendor compliance.

Ensure adherence to ethical sourcing, corporate policies, and applicable regulations.
Requirements:
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (Master’s or certification such as CPSM a plus).

5+ years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience, preferably in retail, distribution, or eCommerce.

Strong negotiation skills and proven success in vendor management.

Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and ERP systems

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of the organization.

Passion for hobbies, cycling, RC, or consumer products a plus!
