QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Now we are looking for a Procurement Manager who would like to be a part of this great team!

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or another related field
  • Knowledge of procurement practices, market research, contract negotiation is a must
  • Have minimum 5 years experience of Procurement, Supply Planning, Supply Chain experience,
  • Fluency in English is a must,
  • Professional knowledge of MS Applications (Word, Excel and Power Point),
  • Knowledge in SAP procurement modules is a plus,
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, intellectual curiosity
  • CIPS Certification is preferred,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to meet the requirements of a fast-paced environment with multiple demands and priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills interact with people from various countries, cultures and all business levels,

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to Global Procurement Director, Procurement Manager will play a vital role in performing and controlling procurement processes in order to provide operation, investment materials, spare parts, direct/indirect materials and services at the right cost, time and quality and prepare tender packages, contracts, carry out contractors/supplier relations.

Additional responsibilities will be as follows:


  • Support procurement processes of goods, services, consultancy and subcontracting services,
  • Contribute to tendering process from initiation to close-out,
  • Identify the alternative supplier Companies and update the potential supplier lists,
  • Act as a liaison with Finance Department for financial planning and payment schedules,
  • Contribute to technical, quality, HSE and environmental inputs to draft and finalize contracts,
  • Support in the preparation of commercial and contractual sections of tender packages in accordance with the requirements, specifications and coordination of inclusion of technical sections for the required materials, equipment, services and works,
  • Communicate with the technical, legal affairs, finance department and provide coordination with departments for the contractual issues
  • Implement Yılport Holding procurement policies and procedures (including contract and claim management procedures).
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements
  • Prepare proposals, request quotes, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions,
  • Improvement of existing suppliers and introduction of new suppliers into the system
  • Follow up of annual purchasing budget and reporting
  • Implement activity plans in order to catch KPIs and procurement performance targets,
  • Monitor of import processes and taking proactive actions regarding import related issues
  • Follow-up quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, regulations.
