We are now looking for another team mate to join us in Ankara Center Office as Procurement Manager.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Identify, evaluate, select and develop local suppliers (e.g., for raw materials, merchandise items, etc.), service providers and transport companies, maintaining a robust local supplier network.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements and improve cost and price levels as well as delivery schedules.
  • Maintain supplier quality and performance.
  • Control and optimize procurement costs within the country incl. identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements in procurement processes.
  • Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain, Planning, and Logistics Manager as well as the Warehouse Manager to ensure timely material availability.
  • Align procurement activities with production schedules and demand forecasts incl. support the achievement of on-time deliveries and production targets.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, laws and ethics.
  • Keep risk exposure within an acceptable level.
  • Measure, analyze and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement & cost reduction.
  • Lead and mentor a procurement team incl. setting clear performance objectives and provide regular feedback.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Set up procurement procedures and follow improvements in line with global strategies.
  • Support sustainability targets and align the actions with suppliers.
  • Manage procurement team and increase the collaboration within company/global team.
  • Improve supplier selection, evaluation and improvement process in line with global targets.
  • Follow supplier performance with quality/operation/requester, follow permanent actions to be closing claims.

  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in supply chain management / procurement,
  • Negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills,
  • Understanding of local market dynamics, supplier landscapes, and industry trends
  • Proficient in standard supply chain & procurement tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Business-oriented degree such as Economics, Industrial Engineering or any other degree course relating to the supply chain and procurement fields
  • Ability to work with self-motivation under tight timelines
  • Advance level English proficiency (both written and spoken).
  • Residing in or willing to relocate to Ankara.
