Procurement Manager & Estimator – MEP Construction ,

Location: Dubai

Experience: Minimum 10 Years in MEP Construction

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Procurement Manager & Estimator more then 10 years in uae to oversee procurement operations and cost estimation for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) projects across the UAE. This dual-role position requires a strategic thinker with deep market knowledge, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience in managing procurement and preparing accurate cost estimates for complex MEP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Management:

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors for MEP materials and services.
  • Ensure timely procurement of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Maintain and evaluate supplier performance and build strong vendor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE procurement laws and company policies.
  • Coordinate with project managers and engineers to forecast procurement needs.
  • Manage procurement documentation including RFQs, POs, contracts, and delivery schedules.

Estimation:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP systems during tender and execution phases.
  • Analyze project drawings, specifications, and BOQs to determine material and labor requirements.
  • Conduct market analysis to benchmark pricing and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to validate scope and quantities.
  • Prepare and submit competitive bids and tender documents.
  • Track cost variations and support value engineering efforts.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of combined experience in procurement and estimation for MEP construction in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, materials, and suppliers in the GCC region.
  • Proficiency in estimation and procurement software (e.g., Candy, SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and UAE construction regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Certifications:

  • CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply)
  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 per month
