Technical Direct Purchasing Manager

Cornerstone Türkiye — we are partnering with a global manufacturing group to hire a Technical Direct Purchasing Manager .

Job Description

• Manage end-to-end P2P: PR→PO, RFQs, allocations, and ERP updates.
• Lead strategic sourcing for direct materials & packaging (e.g., coatings, minerals, chemicals, foam).
• Drive supplier selection, dual-sourcing, and allocation strategies.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts; execute TCO analysis.
• Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, OTIF) and lead corrective actions.
• Build dashboards, ensure ERP data accuracy, and maintain audit readiness.
• Prepare and deliver clear performance updates to management.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical/Material Engineering (or similar).
• Hands-on buying experience in direct materials both operational and strategic).
• Strong SAP (preferred) and Excel/data skills.
• Solid contract literacy and supplier development capability.
• Proven stakeholder management and presentation skills.
• Fluent English
