Procurement Manager

A client of byteSpark.ai is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join their strategic engagement team. This role is pivotal in managing the full lifecycle of vendor relationships, with a specific focus on vendor onboarding and professional services sourcing. The successful candidate will act as a central point of contact, coordinating seamlessly across legal, risk, and finance departments to ensure compliance and efficiency. You will be responsible for enabling new vendors and overseeing limited-scope engagements, ensuring they align with business objectives. This position requires a professional who can navigate complex organizational structures and processes. The primary objective is to assess the candidate's capability and decision-making exposure in a dynamic procurement environment. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to streamline sourcing processes and build strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners. 🎯 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:

▸ Proven experience in managing end-to-end vendor onboarding processes.

▸ Demonstrated expertise in sourcing professional services and negotiating contracts.

▸ Strong understanding of legal terms and conditions related to procurement and vendor agreements.

▸ Experience conducting vendor risk assessments and due diligence.

▸ Proficiency in financial analysis and budget management within a procurement context.

▸ Experience with procurement software and Source-to-Pay (S2P) systems.

▸ Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with legal, risk, and finance teams.

▸ Ability to manage multiple limited-scope projects and vendor engagements simultaneously.

✨ 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀:

▸ Professional certification such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or similar.

▸ Experience working within a large enterprise or matrix organization.

▸ Familiarity with specific ERP or procurement platforms like SAP Ariba, Coupa, or Oracle.

▸ Strong project management skills and ability to lead procurement initiatives.

▸ Experience in a strategic sourcing or category management role.
